Vermilion Talent is a natural extension of what she loves to do - helping women rediscover their footing in preparation for their next career opportunity. She left a career in management consulting to care for her young sons. In 2012, she made the transition back to work and found consulting opportunities that offered the right balance between challenging work and flexibility for her family. Yet, all around her, she noticed a pool of talented moms who were struggling to make the same transition. Having been through it, she enjoys telling her story, advising others on how to navigate re-entry, and partnering with companies to create opportunities for Vermilion Talent members.
Anne-Barbara is a management consultant with extensive experience in Transformation and Strategy implementation projects. She moved from the Netherlands to NY last year, and the transition was an eye-opener. Anne-Barbara was a working mom in the Netherlands and realized it was difficult to create the same arrangement living in NY.
She met many women in the NY area facing the same challenge, expatriates struggling to transition into the workforce due to relocation. This is how Anne-Barbara got involved with Vermilion Talent. She now lends her expertise and enthusiasm in connecting local companies with Vermilion Talent’s pool of talented and professional women.

As an accomplished business professional with 20 plus years of experience across industries, disciplines, and company life cycles (from start-ups to $billion corporations), Tammy has worked within organizations, as well as in consulting capacities. Recognizing that companies, like a human body, are complex and interconnected, and that any change in one area affects every other area of the organization, Tammy brings her broad experience to streamline, improve, and problem solve, directly improving the bottom line. Tammy left the corporate world for more flexible consulting opportunities as her children were growing, and then joined a start-up she recently closed, as co-owner. As Tammy began evaluating the direction for her next move, she ran across Vermillion Talent. Their approach resonated with her, as she has always recognized that women face unique issues in the market, be it returning to work after a break, or re-evaluating their direction, and she is excited to introduce their support process to the Washington DC Metropolitan region.
Maura Gedid is a marketer who spent over a decade helping corporate managements to find equity investors. After moving to Westchester to raise her family, she met women like her who were exploring how they could effectively and authentically reconnect to work outside the home. Vermilion Talent’s approach immediately resonated with her. Building connections between employers seeking talent and diversity and women ready to work was an intuitive idea. She wanted to contribute to those goals both for herself and for others.
